Winners-A-Plenty At Thame Store Reopening
There was joy to be shared around at the grand reopening of Biagio the Jeweller Thame store, and four prizewinners were in particular luck that week.
Thame resident, Julie Gela-Dundas, was almost speechless to discover that she had won an exquisite diamond pendant necklace. This never happens to me!, she said. I have been a customer of Biagio the Jeweller for so many years that the staff feel like friends. And what a gift they have given me. The pendant is amazing!
Visitors to the new store were entered into a prize draw to win £250 worth of Biagio the Jeweller vouchers, which went to another Thame resident, Julie Lee.
Equally surprised by her luck, Julie was thrilled to start browsing, and found a pair of diamond earrings of such a beautiful green, a colour that I love. I shall wear them all the time!
The launch party, as well as presenting the newly refurbished luxurious store, had entertainment for everybody including musicians, a face painter, Italian food from Umbertos, clown magicians, stilt-walking showgirls, and a huge ice sculpture containing Bering watches. Visitors had to guess how long it would be before the watches melted out of the ice. Pictured is Mrs Steward, who won a men’s Bering watch which she plans to give to her son at university. The women’s watch was won by Mrs Brown, who chose a white ceramic watch for herself.
