An unexpected treat fell into the hands of Sue Lloyd this week when she was proclaimed the winner of Biagio the Jeweller’s £3,000 shopping spree competition.

Sue was giddy with excitement at the news. “Things like this just don’t happen to me – I’m so happy I could cry! I have just won £3000 of loveliness to spend in this shop. This is going to be the best fun ever”, beamed Sue.

Sue and her husband visited Biagio the Jewellers on Saturday to meet owner Biagio Patalano to try on jewellery and be treated to a special Biagio shopping experience, before finalising her choice of a unique 18ct white gold and tanzanite ring set with round brilliant diamonds, designed as a one-off by Biagio. “I instinctively thought of tanzanite, as it’s an indulgence and I will love wearing it”, said Sue. “Tanzanite is rare and exclusive”, explained Biagio. “Tanzanites are a thousand times rarer than diamonds. It’s an appropriate choice for such a special event in Sue’s life!”.

Sue is saving some of her prize to allow her two daughters to choose something too. “They couldn’t believe the news and I want them to share in my luck!”
