New Jewellery Designer

Fresh from the Spring catwalk at Academy Live comes silver jewellery designer Chris Lewis. The symmetrical necklace caught the eye of the discerning audience with its differing lengths and lines of silver. A distinctively different jewellery designer, Edinburgh-born Chris evolves his designs from ideas sketched on paper or direct from nature. A small cluster of leaves spotted on a tree was preserved in parchment and reproduced in silver with Chris’s signature textures of organic, hammered and polished finishes.

Chris Lewis has won numerous awards for his meticulously finished pieces. Recently asked to speak as a leading Scottish jewellery designer at the Scottish Portrait Gallery, he shared his inspiration and gave an insight into how his designs come to fruition. His silver hand-crafted jewellery has been exhibited in Edinburgh at the Scottish Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery and the Gallery of Modern Art.

“I see many silver designers on my travels,” says Biagio. “But Chris’s jewellery stands out. He has a huge passion for creativity. I like the sharp and clean lines in his designs and these are perfectly balanced with an excellent quality of craftsmanship. He is willing to work with us in creating bespoke variations – something you don’t see so much these days.”

Fail-safe, timeless combinations in earrings, interesting curios in bracelets and street-style necklaces make this our new go-to designer silver brand at an affordable price.
