A New Dawn At Biagio Bicester
In March 2014, Biagio the Jeweller opened a brand-new store in the Pioneer Square development in Bicester Town Centre.
Auspiciously coinciding with 25 years of Biagio the Jeweller, the move from the Crown Walk premises allows for a huge expansion in space, with the new store occupying triple the area of the previous shop. Owner Biagio Patalano planned the interior himself down to the finest detail, and travelled to furniture makers in Europe to source the bespoke furnishings. Taking inspiration from New York and Italy, eye-catching elements include 2,500-crystal-rich chandeliers, Italian marble and princess chairs.
Biagio has made a name bringing the craftsmanship of the latest designers from Europe to a corner of Oxfordshire. The increased space and new majestic interior accommodates even more of his curated collections, accompanied by well-known brands, including Emporio Armani, Gucci, DKNY, Michael Kors, Claudia Bradby and Endless.
The wait is finally over. I am overwhelmed by how the space so perfectly reflects my ethos and am so excited to let people see it. I hope it fires your own imagination too, should you wish to create a piece of jewellery with the help of our in-house design team at one of our design events or at any time.
Biagio the Jewellers first-ever customer to his first store, 25 years ago, returned to officially open the new store at the grand launch party. Mr Tony Course cut the ribbon to mark the beginning of a new dawn for the jewellery retailer.
Opening the new store brought back memories to Mr Course of the moment that he and his wife passed the first store on their way to the Post Office, when they were drawn to the jewellery on display in the window, in particular a piece modelled on Diana Spencers engagement ring. At the very moment we stopped to look, Biagio opened his door and we became his very first customers. The personal attention we received from Biagio was outstanding and everything was done to ensure we were completely satisfied with the purchase, which was the first of very many! Having lost my wife to cancer almost 14 years ago, the first piece we bought at Biagio the Jeweller is something I will treasure forever.
The fact that Biagio is still in touch with his first-ever customer is an indication of the personal nature of the family business and the loyalty his customers feel towards him. I have had several generations of the same family returning to Biagio the Jeweller for a piece of jewellery to mark special moments in their lives.
