Bigger Necklaces are Better at Cannes
There was an air of timeless old Hollywood style at Cannes Film Festival this year. Bringing a touch of Grace Kelly, Marylin Monroe and Rita Hayworth’s memorable glitz and glamour to the annual star-studded event.
Similar to the Oscars, bold statement necklaces took centre stage and none as impressive and eye catching as Monica Bellucci in Cartier’s Paris Crocodile. Paying tribute to doubtless the most famous Mexican actress of all time, Maria Felix. Félix's original crocodile necklace was based on her own pet crocodile and was worn by Monica on the same red carpet in 2006.
This beauty wowed us nearly as much as Lady Gaga wearing the historic Fancy Yellow Tiffany & Co. Diamond necklace at the Oscars this year. Can you believe it was last worn in public by the epitome of old Hollywood style, Audrey Hepburn!
With everyone from Pixie Lott to Daniella Tarantino embracing this latest trend we have chosen our favourite 5 necklaces that will have you feeling like you are joining the glitterati, strutting your stuff on the red carpet at the legendary Cannes Film Festival:
